An Giang: The majestic beauty of the solar power field at the foot of Cam mountain

In addition to the beautiful natural scenery of the tourist area of Cam Mountain with golden arid rice fields aromatic, far away with the rows of jaggery trees shading the village road, at the foot of the mountain, the Forbidden energy battery field sparkling sun

When coming to Tinh Bien border area these summer days, we can feel all the typical wind and sunshine here. The sun shone on his face, the less fertile land seemed to grow up as trees. However, it is the harshness of nature that creates a valuable resource to turn this place into a clean energy capital in the southwest border of the country.

An Hao is a barren agricultural land, people have been accustomed to the sun and wind for many generations, with the harshness of nature. In the midst of such a wild field, Khmer people can grow only one rice crop in a year but the productivity is very low. But then, also from that field will "plant" up hundreds of thousands of solar panels towering.

The only solar power field in the Mekong Delta in An Thanh hamlet, An Hao commune, Tinh Bien district (An Giang) invested by Sao Mai Group (Sao Mai Solar PV1) successfully on the national grid on May 26, An Hao Solar Power Plant is 275 hectares wide, with 300,000 solar panels with a total capacity of 210 MW, with an investment of nearly VND 6,000 billion.

Solar panels convert solar energy into electricity. The panels are made up of photovoltaic cells and metal conductors, in photovoltaic cells have two layers of cathode and anode, when the photovoltaic panels receive energy from electron sunlight at the anode to the cathode creating an electric field, this time the metal path converts the electric field into electricity.

An Giang is considered as an ideal area for solar power production in the Mekong Delta region, an average of 2,800 hours per year with radiation rate of more than 4.5kWh / m2. This has shown that the spillover of renewable energy projects not only contributes to increasing budget revenue, creating jobs for people, but also creates other great values that directly impact the development of develop fields to ensure national energy security, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect the environment, fight against climate change, turn regions of arid difficulties into fertile for economic transformation and land structure, forming the industrial real estate market ... creating a path for the entire southwest border land to take off.
